Download blank, editable working files for a real press briefing. These are planning aids, not a promise of media attendance, a supplier quote, or legal advice. The separate six-page Planning Guide uses an email-gated request form; the other downloads below do not ask for an email.
Choose a resource
- Planning Guide download page — overview and preview of the existing six-page guide; email required only for this guide.
- Budget planning template — editable Excel worksheet with formula-driven totals and a supplier quote log.
- Invitation email templates — four editable Word examples for corporate, product, government and NGO briefings.
- Crisis emergency checklist — downloadable PDF with immediate, approval and event-day decision checks.
- Media kit template — editable Word document for the release, fact sheet, speakers, event information and media contact.
- 30-, 14-, 7-day planning checklist — on-page guide with a separate downloadable PDF.
How to use these files
Replace every square-bracket placeholder, confirm the date and venue in writing, and obtain approval before sending a document externally. Keep RSVP, actual attendance and earned coverage as different records. The worksheets do not contain client records, supplier prices or journalist lists. For current event help, contact PRS; for documented third-party statistics, use the research hub.
